In the past, Hawaiian Express Records / 808shows.com has made a point of working on projects that help others...
Benefit concerts for the Hawaii Foodbank, Surfrider Foundation, and victims of the events of 9/11
and Compilation albums that raise funds for the Cure Autism Now Foundation for example.
(JM also donates a portion of every paycheck at his job with Oceanic to Aloha United Way as well.)

Currently, we are working towards making donations to the Kokua Hawaii Foundation
through a NEW compilation album called Roots Rock Reggae: Hawaiian Islands.

Proceeds from the sale of this album will be donated to the Kokua Hawaii Foundation
after the success of our 2004 fundraising campaign (see below).

In 2007, we teamed up with (Order of the) White Rose to release
a 7" vinyl record. 100% of the proceeds go to the Maui & Oahu Foodbanks.

After watching a program on television, we have decided that when substantial amounts are generated,
100% of the proceeds from the sale of these albums will go to the Cure Autism Now Foundation.
