Diamond Head International Music Festival and Conference:
"We want to have the primary event inside Diamond Head crater," Gibson said,
"but also have seminars where we bring in talent buyers so that we can expose our
young talents with these international buyers."   Further, day of show walk-ins will
not be allowed, nor will tickets be sold on the day of the event, Gibson has said.

(Concert goers will have to utilize shuttle buses to enter the crater event.)

NOTE: The 2006 show will not be free, times have changed, and the crowds were limited to a mere 7,500 the first year
(about a tenth of what it used to be before it had to go away) but it sure sounds like a good time to me...
Sadly, in 2006 the ticket price was out of reach for the average music fan, but I heard it was fun.

By the way, if you've never done the Diamond Head Hike, that's pretty cool too. Old military bunkers, long rock tunnel, killer views...
